Hey whats up man? I had some 711's on my last car. They were actually pretty good. I live in florida and their is alot of cars that slide around here cause of alot of rain. But the 711's held up ok and I never hydroplained. As for winter I am not sure. The other thing is that they are soft rubber and when I got them alot of people said that it means that they will lose tread alot quicker and I would have to replace the tires. I never got to find out because my last car broke down. But right now on my teg I got some Kumho 712's and they are really nice. Hope that helps you out bro and goo luck with your winters up there.
