B20/VTEC first start hangs with fast flashing CEL

I've been working on a built B20/VTEC swap into my 94 Integra GSR for what seems like eternity and things are finally coming together. Today I pulled the spark plugs out to prime oil. When I tried to start the car I got a click and a strobe effect on the check engine light. The car sounded as if the starter gave a small turn over and then stopped. After that I get a clicking from the drivers kick panel area when I try to start the car. Also my Apexi SAFC went out. Not good.

So:

Checked the starter connections
Checked all wiring harness connections
Checked battery voltage
Reset ECU
Pulled the ECU out and reconnected
Checked splices on ECU for SAFC
Tried to get any error codes with a paper clip, but there were none still just solid yellow

I've heard from some people that this sounds like a dead main relay. The clicking could be the main relay, but I'm not really sure. Any suggestions?

wow i have never heard of anything like that. i would check the main relay, that would be the best bet. if that is good maybe something is fryed in the ECU.

I think you might be right cuz it sounds like the main relay to me, if its not the main relay, I'm not sure what it is.....
