gotta problem

Well i just driving around yesterday and i got on it and my cd player came out of my dash.......and when it came out of the dash it fell out and landed on my center consol right before the shift knob. And then my gauge lights all just shut off for some reason....if anybody has any idea what happened please let me know

Maybe some wires got cut on a sharp edge, shorted out and you blew a fuse. Or perhaps a wire pulled out of its harness and shorted out that way. Check all the wires coming out of your radio harness, and check for blown fuses under your dash and in the engine bay fuse box.
