High beams..

So I can't find a write up for exactly what I'm looking for. I want to purchase the 9005 led drl from super bright LEDs However I want to be able to switch them on without running the headlights. Is this posdible?

Yes. Run them on a separate circuit, positive from the battery terminal, bulb, and a switch the completes a circuit inside the cabin (ground wire).

So basically a typical switch with red and black wire red to battery and black to cabin? Will I wire directly to the bulb or splice the high beam harness ?
