how much for a motor swap

so im looking into buying another db1 for the interior and some other pieces to add to my own db1, the donor car has a 5 speed tranny and the motor has just over 200,000 kms on the dash. i plan selling the motor, tranny, ecu and everything else that would be needed to swap it into another car. My question is how much should i be asking to get back from this swap?

I take it the car has the B18A1 motor?

With those miles... and the non-vtec motor... I would say 250-300 for the trans, 500 for the motor/ecu.

OP, if you get 150-250 for the motor and 100-200 for the trans, you'll be right in the ball park you should be.

yup i had a b18 with like 220k and a trans that had grind traded them straight up for some minty jdm 1 piece headlights lol

thanks for the input. thats kind of what i figured i should ask for, i told the guy 450 and he can have whatever he needs out of the engine bay
