How/where do I put my roof rack on?

I'm not entirely sure how to put the roof rack on my car. Where do I put the towers and clips on the car exactly? If anyone has a tutorial video or step by step pictures that would be very helpful, thank you!

What year and what is your car? 2 door or 4 door? And what kind of roof rack did u buy or are buying all this makes a difference in how to install it

It have a 2 door gs da9. 2nd gen. And I have a yakima set up with y clips and sst towers
