Hey ClubIntegra I have a Milano red 95 GSR that has been running around the O fallon and St. Charles area for the last 3 years. Looks pretty stock other than blacked out taillights and white HIDs. Anyway, the car has 207xxx on it now and I know the motor is suffering. I drive it as nice as possible but it will blow soon enough. Anyone know trusted shops around her, besides Adrenaline (no offense- I have done work there but I just cant afford a swap from them) I am willing to drive anywhere in Missouri or even IL to have a trusted shop do a motor rebuild or swap. Also, any adivce on whether I should rebuild or swap a new motor in....or just scrap the car? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Swap. If you are having "shop" do the work they will run similar in price. Might as well pick up a fresh motor from HMO with a 30 day start up guarentee with paperwork.

I guess it all depends on how rough the body of the car is and how the suspension is holding up. May be better off moving on to another car. 207k on the body and the car has been located in the midwest. Probably has some cancer aka rust that would need attending too as well.

I personally wouldn't want to put $2k into a car with 207k miles on it. It would be hard to get your money back if you sold the car unless the body is in great condition. Otherwise the Honda game has many cars to choose from out there.

Ha your guesses are definately spot on. The body of course is dinged up. Missing the front bumper and every suspension piece needs to be replaced as well. Unfortunately I dont have the money to be running out and buying a new car. Guess I just have to drive the car till it blows and hope i can buy something else?

Well since the question was shops in MO, I recommend RevLine in KCMO. Choung will hook you up with whatever you need.
