na i understand. definetly understandt he suggestion. im just putting myself on a tight budget cause i still haev to get my b20 tuned but have been needing new rotors for a while.so i dont have a lot and non necessary expense i can avoid, i really need to. i mean i might at one point get them unless i can get them for cheap.

i really honestly dnot want to spend anymore then about 300, all i really want are some pads and rotors.
Then you'll be fine with my recommendation. Hawk HPS pads and Power Slot slotted rotors. Definitely within your budget. You'll love that setup for daily and some spirited driving. :thumbs up

whats the purpose of stainless steal brake lines? i mean im sure it has to do with them not snapping or anything of that nature. but i honestly just need new rotors and pads. im not autox'ing my car or anything so preformance a long the lines of agressive breaking is not a concern.
The lines also make the fluid go through at a constant pressure even under stress. Excessive/hard braking and keeps the pedal firm.

Why not research it..I know we've covered this.

You can also find tons of deals in the H-T marketplace. Also, we may have a site sponsor that could give you a deal or price match, just FYI.

Good brake fluid also adds to the firm pedal feel. I like it hard. <-- That's what she said!

the only reason im not really concerned with break lines. though they are a good thing is that i am not an aggressive driver/braker. i dont nor will in the near future track this set up. this is just my daily.

Never ever ever ever had an issue brake under extreme conditions. My only week point is my shity tires right now...but I had the setup I mentioned earlier on the 16 KDW2 and damn that bitch could stop...

Well, we needed to know how it was being used.

Even just changing the brake pad you'll get quicker stopping power. I think the pad/rotor combo is perfect for a daily driver with "some" spirted driving. It'll be perfect for your setup/driving.

i had told before. sorry if it was unclear what my intentions were. i will definitely look into those, i plan on either ordering them tonight or sometime next week. all i need is just the rotors and pads right? unless i want to get the lines, and those can be put on later at some point, although it seems stupid to do.

i appreciate all the help yall have given me! this is gunna be the first big thing i do by myself.
