machine shop??

Motor isn't broken my plan was to just take a b18b and yeah just rebuild it so I can safely run a turbo set up....I wanna do it right no cutting corners. Also its not quite a "budget build" per say but at the same time I don't really want to shovel out loads of cash, maybe somewhere in between...

    machine shop??

So I'm getting ready to start an engine build starting to buy parts, etc. etc. I'd like to get a lot of machine work done to the block and head (deck resurfaced, align honed, balanced and blueprinted, port and polish, all that fun stuff) but I wanna use a machine shop that has had a lot of...

    Broken Timming Belt?

This happened to me about a year ago... I swapped out the motor for fear of internal engine damage but when I took apart old motor, no damage had been done. You definitely have the right idea replace belt n cross your fingers, but when I was pricing parts it ended up cheaper and less time...

    exhaust gasket.

The gasket looks right and I've used one very similar on my setup not the best but it works. And the exhaust gasket you got linked there for your headers does NOT look right, very close but its also very hard to tell. O'Reilly will definitely have the exhaust gasket you need just that one...

    Idle @ 5000 RPMS

[/IMG] I'm not trying to insult anyone's intelligence here. On top of the TB is your MAP and on the side of the TB is your TPS (as i'm sure all of you know). The pic is a view from the top So more than likely yeah you got them on the right way (had to offer this because even the best...

car won't start (thank god for push start)

Theres no click or tick that comes from the clutch interlock switch you need to test it or jump it. Did you check the relay? and yes in theory you can just mount a push button start for your car but off the top of my head I'm not positive on the voltage signal but I'd also go throught the relay...

Replacing cam plug: What am I doing wrong?

wow dude thats intense, well go ahead and start your search at a junkyard for a new cap. can you take a pic of the plug alone? unless its a different design I took my valve cover off and that one cap just to take the only plug off and when I installed my new one I put the cap back on and there...

    running rich and bad idle

Some people consider it the manifold some just consider it exhaust regardless of all that Prozon has a good location description, under the trans maybe a little downward but its before the catalytic converter and if you have a dual o2 sensor setup the 2nd is after the cat/on the cat. I'm...

    Oil leak help: Head gasket?

yeah thats possible but not the most likely. And you sure your not burning oil as well as maybe a slight leak? I always clean the area and try to watch for it leaking first to make positive where its leaking. It's not uncommon for a b-series to burn oil (valve seals or rings) which is exactly...
