I'm rolling around on ground control/tokico blue combo. Pretty agressive drop, daily driven. Ride comfort is good.

Koni are also out of his price range. And Illuminas are track proven by me. You can get a used set of Ground controls easier and spend 600 for shocks while the Koni set will be harder to find

i would look into a full camber kit or at the very least a quality alignment, but skunk2 has camber kits that are awesome
