knock off turbos are garbage at best.
I got one for free from a friend of mine that he decided not to use thanks to my recommend so we slapped it on my 88 turbo RX-7 it lasted 300 miles before total destruction LOL. The turbine wheel came in contact with the housing and sounded like a screeching freight train under boost. On the way back home it began to spew oil into the exhaust and inter-cooler. We spent the next few months testing turbos for fun
Eclipse/Talon/EVO turbos take a beating so do volvo turbos. you can get these cheap since most people upgrade and sell their stockers. We had a 2 step launch control hooked up on this test rx-7 and we destroyed a few turbos we had laying around the shop.
In other words its better to buy a used OEM turbo than a NEW ebay piece of garbage.
