A mechanic to install a lip?:rolf: I'm sorry I don't mean to laugh at you but its really easy.
You don't understand....I have a tendency to screw the easy things up...like have a drill/screw driver slip off a screw and scratch something...that type of thing. That is why I asked.

My mechanic is a Honda/Acura specialist that used to be a service manager at a Honda dealership. He's a friend and would put something like that on my car for free.

With all that said, I was just wondering what I should do, since I'm prone to accidents.

No biggie.

you just zip tie the bottom unless you have the original mounting screws. but zipties work too. and its not hard.... do it yourself and learn from your mistakes.

My name matches again lol
I duct taped that plastic part to my car lol but then after I took the car to one of my mechanics I noticed the bolts had been replaced. :2confused Mine didn't hang nearly as bad as that though. All I know is, if I parked too far over one of those concrete slabs in a parking space and then backed out, I'd hear a loud pop and my front bumper would come off. Usually the left side would stick out from the fender where it was supposed to connect to the bumper.

how much was the car? i just bought mine with the exact same year/color for $2k.
I paid $2600. I felt pretty good about it. The guy just replaced the plugs and wires (with NGK) and put fresh tires on it (although they are 60's instead of 55's). It also has a nice Alpine head unit, Alpine door speakers and Alpine tweeters in it. Also has a Clifford alarm on it.

Question for you guys...what MPG should I be getting? Engine is completely stock.

That's the problem...I did those little things with my civics, and what I learned is that I'm a little clumsy sometimes. :retard:

I'm sure I can handle zip tying and installing the lip. Lip will be in next week. I'll take pics when I'm done.

Nice looking car...I have not used the short shifters off ebay but i read that they seem to break easy when powershifting lol. If i were you i would buy real deal parts of well known company's. Not ebay parts.

i have one if you wanna buy it. it will probably break tho
That crappy, huh? I figured that would be something that would be no big deal to get off of ebay, kind of like buying the cheap short ram intake, then slapping a good filter on it.

Thanks for the info guys!
