Bought a Mercury Dual Pro thunderbolt enclosure, two Toshiba sata3 6gb/s hard drives, and a 480gb 6gb/s SSD for the MacBook Pro. Have it running a raid 1 for my photo/video with a partition for ssd backup. All I can say is WOW, I was running 16gb ram before but the speed difference with the SSD is huge, and this is the first thunderbolt drive I've used, it's lived up to its name.
