I just purchase Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3-2400, 32GB (4x8GB) RAM from Amazon (gift card). All I need now is the PSU and storage drive.

I'm debating if I want to do a (1) internal SSD Samsung 850 Evo 500GB for the PC and set up an external Raid hard disk drive (2x3TB) @ 7200rpm for my .DWG files.

This PC build is for mostly for my business & home office.

Building a new/cheap rig for my wife, so we can came together (to an extent because lol budget build.)

All parts are second hand and it's ran me close to $300 now.

So far I got /bought:
-x4 Kingston 2GB RAM sticks
-x2 2 Sapphire Radeon 7770s with crossfire enabled
-x1 Hitachi 500GB HDD
-x1 Kingston 90GB SSD
-x1 EVGA P55 SLI 132-LF-E655-KR LGA1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
-x1 Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1156 95W BX80605I5750 Processor
-x1 HP Workstation XW8200 to gut and put all the parts in to.

The only other thing I'll be needing is a new power supply as I don't want to run the POS PSU that came with the HP workstation from the factory.

I use that monitor literally to just verify everything works. :p Hence why everything is breadboarded and connected to it

I also ended up leaving the HP Workstation alone, as I may run it as a basic server.

I'm getting ready to build a PC, ever since upgrading to El Capitan it's been nothing but crashes. Really pisses me off when I'm playing a game and it crashes.

I enjoy building them, this is the second build that I've done. It's really fun shopping and trying to get the most bang for your buck. I think the priciest item for this most recent build was my power supply which ran me about $70 bucks
