Sony Xplod or JL Audio?

My friend gave me a deal for one ported 12" JL Audio w0v2, and a JL Amp 300/1 for $150.
But then I saw this Sony Xplod sub, it's a ported dual 12" for $130, and I could buy the amp from my friend for like $70 probably.

Which deal would you go for?
Some of my friends say Sony's sound is shit quality, and JL is better quality in sound.

I have a question about Speakers, not Sub/Amp.
So I'm looking at the speakers it says "6-1/2" 2-Way Car Speaker with Composite IMPP Woofer Cones (Each)", does 2-Way mean I get 2 speakers or what? What if it was 3-Way, does that mean 2 Speakers and 1 Sub or 3 Speakers?

I have a Xplod system in my car, no subs tho. it hits pretty hard. But I imagine you can get allot better...

Yeah. Like the first one says 2-Way and the second one says 4-Way.

I saw one for $70, it was tempting but a lot of people are saying it's terrible so yeah.

2 way just means it has 2 speakers, the tweeter (the silver thing i the middle), and the woofer (the big speaker). There are 3 way's actually, it's a small tweeter, a larger tweeter/tiny midrange, and the big woofer.

never get xlpod subs, there very weak. ive went threw 4 sets in 6 months.
im guessing thats why there so cheap?

anyway JL is good

but my favorite choice on subs is RE SX PUSHES 1000 RMS VERY NICEEEEEEEEEEEEE
