stripped lug nut in small space, how to remove?

So, I have ADR GT Sport rims on my teg with very tight lug nut holes and two of the lug nuts on the front right rim are stripped. Does anyone know a way to get them off?

Drill them out. Or take them to shop and pay them to do it.

Yeah and to put new studs in the hub has to be pressed out and in doing this will make you need a wheel bearing as well. Have done it a few times. So I opted out and got arp studs. If its just the out side of the nut find a socket that will fit in the rim and drive it on the nut.

If you get the nuts off and are gonna replace the wheel studs it's actually cheaper to get a whole new knuckle and wheel hub assembly at a salvage yard than having a shop press it out

Craftsman has a stripped nut kit, it works like a champ. I have had to use it several times and it never fails me.

That link is only for half of the set. It is a 10 pc set. One half comes with the case, the other half is sold separately. You can get them at Sears. They are well worth the cost.

Or you can get this complete set online. I do not believe sears sells this set though. So it would have to be online.

This one is actually my favorite version, because you can use an impact or just a half inch drive ratchet/breaker bar.

Dayum. Maybe if you just roll around with only those two lugs, they'll find their ways off themselves..?

Holy shit it doesn't even look like there's any space between the lug nuts and the opening for it. And by the looks of it, drill it out.

This might be a dumb idea but worth the try. Put your car on jackstands and rotate the wheel so those lugs are on the bottom. Then get a big heavy rubber hammer and hit the bottom of the wheel.

I think those are the kind of lugs that are meant for a bit to go on the inside of it, not around it, if that's what you were implying.. Otherwise these type of wheels would never work.

Oh I know that. I'm just amazed at how little space there is to work with. It looks like those lugs grind against the wheel each time it's removed and reinstalled. Poor design on ADR's part.
