TruHart Sport Struts

Well first off.

I had two blown tokico blues. One front one rear.
Needed a quick cheap fix for the moment and saw these magically pop up.

Next.

I had skunk2 lowering on the front and adjustables in the rear.

I threw my springs on the truharts , did some good ol' rough Seattle uphill pothole infested driving for a few weeks.
These struts aren't half bad, obviously nowhere near tokico or tein.

But for some of you guys with a build on a budget these things are prime.

This is my setup on my dear commuter.

I wanted to be a bit low because stock ride height looks like a lifted truck.

So, since i just purchased a 2013 Nissan Xterra (Fully Loaded), Didn't need anything super flashy or expensive.

I went and bought some skunk2 lowering springs, which are pretty stiff with oem springs.

Threw those on with my stock shocks and boom.

this is about as low as it got there for a while riding on OEM struts.

Saw TruHarts pop up while i was literaly a day form purcasing some tokicos.
Ordered them, boom came in 4 days !

Threw those Skunk2's on there.

And this is as low as it sat with 195/55/R15.

Now that i ended up getting new tires, 195/45/15 its about an inch lower.

Fat guy in a little coat.
Hope you like your skunk2s. I like mine a lot. Nice car.

195/45r15 seems like a small tire, no?

I love them. I have eibach sport lines in mine. The strut is shorter than an OEM strut so your stance drops a bit more that it would with just a lowering spring on an OEM strut.
How long have you have this setup?

Sorry I haven't been on much to answer questions. But ^^ is correct. I've had the springs for quite some time though. I love the struts. They are holding up strong. I do plan to put some ground control sleeves on them in the future so I can have done adjustability. They also use eibach springs I believe.

You need to get the blox end links for your sway bar. The OEM ones don't work correctly with those blox LCAs (I have the same ones). The way you have it setup now is actually bending the sway bar FYI.

that picture was taken like.. in 2012. everything has been swapped. F7, ASR, Beaks. theres another thread in here.

Other than that i rode on that OEM bar for about a month or two. took it out and it was fine.

How low can you you go on these TruHart shocks/struts? I bought some 1.75" springs. Will that pair be ok?
