what's your stupid reason for getting pulled over?

I was driving my sister's car one night, we get pulled over because she had the smoked licence plate covers. I'm cursing her out in the front seat of the car cause I'm gonna get the ticket and not her. I tell the cop I'll take them off, pull out my multi tool and pop them off really quick right in front of the cop. I don't get the ticket, thankfully, but as we are pulling away she tells me her insurance is lapsed and she handed the cop her expired registration. Shows you how much the cops pay attention.

Okay it was the night zombieland came out i was doing a 75 in a 35 trying to make it on time because i was late and i had 10+ tickets for all my friends i didnt relize cops were trying to pull me over for 5 minutes because i was jamming out to some music and texting lol next thing you know i pull over 3 cop cars surrond my car all jump out with guns and freaked me out seeing im 17 and i was like DANG so the cop goes can i see you licence and registration gave him both he didnt evn run my licence jsut said what u going so fast for i told him he said shit boy you better go faster i was suppose to see that with my friend tonight but they got me working a double next thing you know i have 3 cop cars escorting me to the movie theatre speeding my ass off was the most amazing night EVER

Cop was tailgating me. I slowed down to 15 under and blocked him in by making sure the car next to me was going just slow enough. the street finally went to three wide and he passed me as i yelled out the window you cant do that fucking pig. TPD pisses me off so bad

I got pulled over for making a right turn on red during the hours that a posted sign said I shouldn't (4-6) and it was like 4:30 with low traffic. It was my own stupid fault for not noticing; there was a bike cop that jus finished giving someone a ticket, then BAM, got me. The irritating factor was that he was being a smart a$s about it when writing me up. Another time was when I was in my dad's Blazer, Cop pulled me for not having a front license plate. He was questioning me on if I had any illegal drugs or weapons in the car. Of course, I did not, and told him so. He let me off with a verbal warning thankfully, and wasn't being rude about it. But even still, IF someone had such items, would they say 'Oh Yes officer, got a mini-gun, some RPG's, and a buttload of coke in the back!' :lol:
Last night could have a rather bad ordeal. I was on my way home from the movies with a couple buddies, and was turning right on an intersection. This mid 80's mustang passed by and revved up when passing me (two lane road). He was all driving slow and waiting for me, totally trying to toy with me to pull along side and race him. Wouldn't you know it, a few more minutes down the road, a CHP was chillin on the opposite shoulder- he was pulling out and looked like he was gonna turn around, but I pulled into my buddies housing complex. Gotta be thankful for the moments where you decide to not do something stupid!

well if you tell them you have drugs or weapons, then sometimes they will just take them and let you go or atleast work with you for cooperating, but if you say no, and they find them, its just pisses them off

i was going home from skul and i still had my auto uniform on when i got pulled over for got pulled over for my exhaust. so he ask me for license and registration so i did after he ran my license plate and went around my car ans seen that i was lowered and my he came to my window and ask me to pop my hood so i did and he check if i had any mods on the engine. he came back and told me this the first time i haven't seen that Grey piping color in the intake and told me have i got a ticket for being to low. i said no and told him that the person that had my car first stuff the stock intake box and it was over heating my car bad and i just took it off and put that specter air filter. and after he told me that i ask him what can i do for my exhaust i bought the car like that he said u did i said yeah i been looking for the oem exhaust for a year i been to junkyards to junkyards and no luck. he told me to just got to a muffler shop and get a exhaust their or keep the one i have on i said cool. after he gave me my license and registration back and told im not going to give u a ticket because i was being cool with him and i got my shit straight

With no cars around... except that police car. Haha. That kind of stuff sucks.

I'll give "two" incidents that I got pulled over. All for stupid reasons, none in a teg though. All my lifted F350.


1.) Completely LAME! It was about 10pm in my small town. I had just gotten my NEW engine in my F350, I was test driving it around town. Actually not doing anything bad just a normal test drive.. and I got pulled over for not having mud flaps. Lol.

2.) It was about 1am, it was just after I went four-wheeling with my friend. My truck was covered in mud and I was driving home after dropping my friend off. I passed a cop and he turned around in the street, well I saw him turning around and thought.. hmmm... I don't want to get pulled over, so I hit the throttle and made a quick turn.. well guys, that's just not smart to do. Whether he intended to pull me over or not, he now was GOING to because he figured I had something to hide. He caught up with me in about half a second and pulled me over. He told me that he could not see my license plate because it was covered in mud, and that my eye's looked "glazed" over and asked if I was drinking. Well of course I said no, but when does that ever convince a cop? I had to take a breathalyzer test, which of course came up 0.0. He let me go after that.

and then i got pulled over for having "i <3 Cops" on the side of my car. lol
