Troof.:lol:so do ls integras with gsr swaps.
Not around here they don't, I bought mine 1998 LS for $1800, there are also these in my area.why do you type like this??
and they sell ls integras for like 5k
you should put up a wtt ad on craigslist, you'd be surprised how many people with tegs want to get out of the honda gameYeah well as far as the tubo and GS-R swap go for the LS, with the money from both the LS and the b18c gs-r swap i could buy a GS-R plus a turbo.
The only real problem is I will sell my 97' Mazda Protege on craigslist for the rest of the funds to buy the LS or GS-R, so I will be without a car for however long it takes to buy a cheap GS-R on craigslist.
You really think someone would trade my 1997 Mazda Protege LX for an Acura Integra GS-R? Or even a teggy LS? I doubt it. Maybe if i payed the difference.you should put up a wtt ad on craigslist, you'd be surprised how many people with tegs want to get out of the honda game
Why dd he not want a Honda anymore? Especially the teggy, It gets at least a 4/5 star on over 50 customer & company reviews for reliability.:???:well maybe you would have to add cash on top but i dont think more than 7-800 if the teg is in good condition. i have a friend who traded his perfectly good 95 ls for a 97 ranger with tranny problems straight up, just because he didnt want a honda anymore. its worth a shot at least.
Okay, I have one more question for you sir, since you are the only one still replying. With the LS prices around my area being around 600 above my current cars value, and the GS-R's being over $1,500 more in value, (from what I see on Craigslist) should I just settle with an LS, or strive for a GS-R. Yes I am going to work on it, and either way I'd treat it like my baby, but, is it worth it to fix up and make faster an LS, or should I wait for the better platfom of a GS-R? in your opinion.^haha no one is arguing that honda's or integra's are not good cars. i personally love them and that friend got another one after trading his away. at the time he just didnt wanna deal with worrying about it getting stolen or dumping money into his car. it's a great car, and im just suggesting that you try your luck and see what kind of offers you get
Alright, thanks! Add me to your buddy list!haha yeah i guess im the only other one in here. i think what it comes down to is what your goals are long term for the car. if it comes down to boost, i would go with the ls because of base price, since the amount of money you spend to build it would really come down to the quality of the parts. if i were to go all-motor, then i would start with a better platform, which in this case, is the gs-r. just my .02 though, im sure there are more knowledgeable people on this site who should chime in.
