are you sure that is a db8 and not a db7? you have an LS motor

Thanks guys and u know 96lsteg thts the second time someone has asked me if I'm sure if thts a db8, the vin shows a db8, is there another way I can tell

Did you check the VIN on the dash and compare it with the sticker under driver door? That's 2 places I know of

Also check the engine code on the tranny and block.

My exhaust setup, dc header, with a 2 1/2 piping, to a vibrant muffler. Not in the pic is my high flow cat, which is in my car. Can't wait

The last place too check the vin would be on the fire wall next to the battery and fuel filter. I have a db7 95ls nonvtec it's an automatic trans. Yours is standard(vtec or non)?

DB8 = 4 door GSR (which means you should have a B18C1 and matching trans)

DB7 = 4 door LS (which has a B18B1 and matching trans) <--The motor you have

The DB8 is vtec DB7 is non-vtec.
