Issue is, my front speakers no longer work after installation of my new stereo.
They worked yesterday.
Removed old stereo, found out old stereo was wired in by a fucking monkey.
Oem harness was destroyed. So I purchased a junkyard one from a 88-91 civic hatch.
Rewired oem harness with connector. Sealed it all up, everything matched wire for wire. Only thing left out was the. Power atenna relay which the antenna is a broken pos anyways so I didn't care.
So now I'm dealing with front speakers that don't work. I think there's a good possibility they're blown? Lol. I didn't disconnect my battery during this whole process but all exposed wires never made contact with bare metal.
I read you can test your speakers with a 9v battery so I'll try there tomorrow but I highly doubt they're blown.
All fuses in cabin and out of cable were all pulled and inspected. Nothing was blown.
Any ideas?
