What exactly are you doing with bondo? Don't cover up rust with it. You can only really use a thin layer of bondo and you have to have it prepped right or it will crack and fall off.

Well she looked 18!....
Grind out or cut out all the rust. Like Prozon said, you dont wanna put bondo or body filler over the rust, you'll just end up doing twice as much work later. (And it WILL always happen when you least expect it...or need it to....Import Tuner mag photog shows up....and there's your ride in the background with the nasty rust bondo) gack!

Here's the link I ment to post.. right now I'm just doing temporary work till I can put some real quarter patches in and do it right.. Like i said I had some body guys look at it and i know now I did it wrong but its all good I think I'm just gonna finish what I started and paint it myself and see how it turns out and later have a pro do it

If you don't get rid of the rust and treat the metal, your "temporary" work will end up costing you a lot of money to do over. It's going to be a mess underneath and it will spread, guaranteed. Plus you're wasting money on material and supplies.
