Boost spike or faulty boost gauge?

just supercharged my integra, and between 6500 and 7100 rpms right before i switch gears, my boost gauge jumps from 6-10psi. Any one know what the problem may be? i think it is a bad gauge, because i don't feel a power increase.

Does it bounce between 6 and 10 or just jump from 6 to 10 real quick? What brand gauge is it?

do you have a boost controller or some form of boost regulation.....manual boost controllers tend to let you encouter a boost spike which what i beileve you're dealing with. The gauge is most likely right on point. ALso, did you have your supercharged set-up tuned?

right before i change gears, like right before redline it jumps from 6-10 real quick. It does not bounce. It is a phantom autometer gauge.
