building a high rev engine

i'm wondering if anyone has advice on building a high revving ls b18a/b block keeping in mind that the rod to stroke ratio is less than ideal for it i've been playing around with ideas like custom rod lengths and different crank set ups but still not sure, i want to keep displacement if i can but in the end it seems i won't be able to so any advice would be great

What you could do to keep displacement is bore it out a little and then get the right Rod:stroke ratio. that would be the only way to keep displacement and get the corect r:s ratio.

to get a better rod stroke with a LS engine is to get longer rods and stroke. and get a deck plate.

you can do something like in this article, the obly problem is that this engine costs like 10k. i personally was going to do it myself until reality set in once i realized the price of the engine was 4 times the price that i bought the car
