I just finished doing a conversion from auto to manual and i changed the cluster to a manual cluster as well and now the gas meter doesnt work but it works when i plug the auto clutser back on. Any suggestions ?

so you have an automatic cluster and a manual cluster?
Look at the green film on the back of the cluster, and behind where the manual cluster, look at the soldering at the gas gauge location, if it looks rusty thats your problem, you can also just swap components form one cluster to the other, you can PM me if you need help

from my experience the film is different based on the backing of the cluster, some have cutouts for something others dont. the film is identically the same except one might have a hole for a plastic nub. i suggested the op just put the manual tach in his auto cluster.I've heard that the films differ from obd1 vs obd2 cars. Could be the issue?
