drinkin gas?!

seems that since my timing was adjusted my car seems to be drinkin up gas like a baby with a bottle. :cry: i retarded my timing to a litle bit below stock setting but it still seems to do it. could it be valve problems? thanks!

i couldn't see it being your valves unless they arent seating properly causing a misfire. that would mean some fuel is being wasted during every compression stroke. but i dont think you would use more fuel this way as apposed to a normal stroke. i will ask another mech.

check your plugs. if they are all black, that means you arent getting a good spark and fuel is not being burnt correctly
