Saturday October 20th is the 8th annual Kiddie Rydes' DROPTOBERFEST custom truck and car show. For newcomers, it is at the Luzerne County Community College in Nanticoke, PA. It's a show for custom trucks, including minis and fullsize, and custom cars which include sport compacts and lowriders. The show draws rides from as far away as Maine, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Show opens at 9 am, registration is $15.00 and closes at 1pm. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the college. General ADMISSION IS FREE!!! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in each class sponsored by A&A Auto stores. The guys from DROP 'EM WEAR will be out in full force with their huge selection of merchandise, not to mention the official DROPTOBERFEST 2007 tee shirt! ROCKSTAR will be on hand with plenty of free drinks. There will be a SOLO II autocross/ drifting competition for racers and spectators. If interested in racing, contact us before the day of the show. We are having a certified stereo competition, not to mention a huge raffle, which each registrant is entered into for free. A&A Auto stores will be present along with Auto Addictions, Jesse "the turtle and alligator guy", the US ARMY and their rock climbing wall, Jack Williams Auto Stores, and many more vendors. We have several food vendors this year and alot of activities planned. Female roller derby is in the works along with a motorcycle stunt show. Show coverage will be announced on the website within the following weeks. Visit AutoRush.com for pictures of previous Droptoberfests. Definitely hit up the website for more information on the show. This year, Kiddie Rydes is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They started this show when their club was only together 2 years. Alot has changed, but one thing remains the same: This event is created by a "family" of friends who put a year of their personal time into creating a show where people from different aspects of this sport can come together, show off their accomplishment, respect others work and ideas, meet new people, and have a full day of fun without having to break the bank. Last but not least, if you have ever been to a Droptoberfest, thanks for helping us make this show grow bigger from year to year
