engine build recommendations?

I have a B18b engine (yeah, i know, it sucks) with less than a handful of mods on it. Just an AEM Short ram intake, alpha skunk2 70mm throttle body with skunk2 pro series intake manifolds. I was just seeing if you guys can recommend me any mods for HP gain, even with a suckish non-vtec engine.

Brian crower makes some non-vtec cams.

I'd bore it to 82mm and get matching pistons.

That's just a start though.

The only mods are the ones listed above aside from a B&M shortshifter and some exterior changes. everything else is stock

That is a giant throttle body for not having headwork done and it being a b18b.

yeah, the best thing i could probably do for now is get some good forged pistons and cams

haha im still a high school student man and just recently got a job. I was thinking of turbo but it'll probably kill my engine. I am also thinking of getting a different head for it

OK, Google "How to LSVTEC" and get a B16 or GSR head for it.

Dude I have seen head prices vary from 100 to 1500. Depends on condition, mods to it, location, sellers mood, gas prices, etc.

I always see b16 and GSR heads go for $300-350.
