gmc jimmy..

i know this is off the integra topic but im havin this problem with my wifeys jimmy its a 01 and wen it hits 40 and up it like bogs out and starts pulling like the rpm needle goes up outta no where..im thinkin its the fuel pump thats messed up...any suggestions??

could be, check the fuel filter first. a clogged/dirty filter could cause fuel delivery issues at higher RPMs.

btw, this could be in The Lounge, or even the engine section. Why 2nd gen.?

check the spark plugs and wires also

Yeah its kinda off topic. You can just look for a gmc parts forum if you want to get a better solution to your problem.

if it was the fuel pump for the most part it wouldnt start, atleast thats what happened to mine one day its started the next NOTHING. def check the fuel filter and the plugs like mentioned, TRANSMISSION fluid too. mine was low on fluid and it would kinda hesitate when taking off
