GS-R or NOT

How could one tell, just from looking, if the engine in an integra is REALLY a GS-R and not an LS with a GS-R valve cover on it?

engine id plate thats on the block that has the engine code on it (blue box) or look for the vtec solenoid beside the distributor on the exhaust cam. (red box) besides, a GSR valve cover won't work on a LS head.

^^^ correct. also the IM looks diffrent on a GSR than a LS. The GSR IM looks like it curves down, where as the LS curves up.

i think hes talking about a LS/VTEC since GSR valve covers cant fit on LS heads anyway.
