Hood help

So i was wondering if i should do some extensive sanding to my oem hood or replace with a carbon fiber hood oem. See i noticed rust all around the hood release so i'm asking for a lil help

Pics would help.. but i would go for a new carbon fiber hood, if you have the money.

Carbon fiber OEM. But honostly in around 1-2 years it'll fade and look like shit, they all eventually do
