I got the wrong motor oil

I've always used 10w30 in my car but I got 10w40 by mistake and it's in my engine. runs normal but would this cause anything bad? I know 40 is thicker at higher temps but it's the same while at start up. any info would be cool

I got an assload of 20w40 that ive been putting in..

What are some problems that could come of this, didnt really think much of it before

you could potentially be damaging the top end of your engine on cold starts with the 20w40, i would never exceed a 40 weight on the hot side and never exceed a 10w on the cold side with factory bearing clearances. I run rotella T6 5w40 in mine for drag racing.
