Is this car a GS or LS?

I bought a 1992 Acura Integra that has all the symbols shaved off but the guy said its an LS. I had the vin # run through my insurance company and it came up as a GS how do you know if its an LS or GS?

Yep, the VIN will tell you.
If the 8th character of the VIN is a:
5, it's an LS.
6, it's a GS.

If you start seeing my car getting tons of parts and your credit card bill is a couple g's higher then what it should be, then maybe i did.
