Larger Throttle Body

I've got a completely stock 99 GS-R and I'm looking at various engine mods. I'll do the whole intake, exhaust ugrades first but I'm also looking at a couple of other things one of which was a larger throttle body. I'm curious though, does anyone know what other modifications I would have to make if I were to make this upgrade? Seems like I'd atleast have to reprogram the fuel map, but I'm no tech. Any advice would be appreciated.

Why do you want a larger TB? Do you like goin fast? You dont need a larger TB unless you are flowing a lot of air, IE bored out or larger displacement. If you make the TB too big then you lose flow velocity which is not good in a NA engine. If you plan on turbo or supercharger then yea get a larger TB. So in conclusion no need for a larger TB unless you plan on some mejor engine work.

a larger t/b is a must if you get a ported intake manifold. but remember...with air flow you also need spark and fuel. one is useless and hazardous without the other.
