multiple questions - ecu and dies

Howdy folks. I got a 94 LS coupe. Im wondering where the ecu is located in the vehicle as well as how hard to pull the distributor out of it. It dies randomly, and was towed to the dealership. They cleaned the dizzy up some and it ran for a week. I died today again, wait 5-10 seconds and it fires right back up. I think it either needs a distributor or an ecu as Ive read that they dont age too well sometimes. Please any info would help.

its pretty easy to take out the dizzy. if you do decide to replace it, you will need a timing gun to set the timing on it. Plus you will need an obd1 dizzy. Try replacing the cap and rotor before replacing the entire dizzy.
