Honestly though, when all the major design characteristics are taken, theres not much left to do than copy.

Just like music or movies from the 80s.

It's gorgeous, fantastic, amazing. Whoever ls trying to compare it to other vehicles is ridiculous, yes you! That's like saying every car with a flat nose from the 80s was a design rip of of every other car from the 80s. The car looks nothing like a s2000 except they're both roadsters.

In fact Mazda is the last company out there I would expect to look at other brands cars when they are getting inspiration, especially with the newest design team.
