p8r on b20z

any one ever run a P8R head on a b20z block?. Im wondering about valve to piston clearance. I think the motor that comes with the p8r head has lower compression piston and larger valve reliefs due to 33mm valves but i couldnt find much info when i searched.

Many B20Z's came with P8R heads. No clearance issues. Will work just fine. The lower compression B20B4's came with P-75 heads.

You're not going to have any p2v clearance issues with any stock head / block combination. Especially with stock cams. But you should always check it if using aftermarket cams.
