california has one of those petitions going around too but it never did anything.

Ive had 3 fix it tickets so far for no front plate and i still dont plan to keep one on my car on a regular basis.

I haven't had a plate on the front of gsx since i bought it brand new in late 98. Its never had one, and nobody has ever said anything to me. I even got pulled over by a state trooper and he wrote me ticket. He went to the front of my car to write my license plate number on the ticket and there was no plate there, so he just went to the back and wrote it down. Gotta love Houston sometimes! They never say anything about it. I take it off every car I've ever had like the day I get it
