Poor man's security

Horrible, horrible advice.

No fuse under the dash will prevent the car from starting. Only certain fuses under the hood will prevent the car from starting. In any case, it's a retarded idea because you can grab another fuse from almost anywhere and put it in there. Failing that, you can shove any kind of metal in there. Very simple for a thief to figure out what's wrong.

Everyone always says pull the ECU, no one ever does it. If they did, they would know how dumb this is. It's a PITA to unplug the harness, and after you do this a few times, you mess up all the pins. Not to mention that almost any Honda ECU from the same OBD generation can be put in there and the car will drive just fine.

Pull the battery? When's the last time you lugged a battery around? You think they're going to let you take that in the store with you? Get battery acid all over your clothes. This is a joke, right?

The people who steal Hondas HAVE Hondas. They have ECUs, main relays, fuses, distributor caps, plug wires, steering wheels at their disposal. Don't be another fool with a stolen vehicle thread who learned the hard way. Do a main relay kill switch and get yourself an alarm. This is a requirement for all Hondas. Depending on how much you have invested in your car, and how dangerous of an area you live in, you may consider getting a "Denver Parking Enforcement Boot" and a tracking device like the Viper 210.
I agree with 'hatch....get it done right or just be prepared to have your honda stolen eventually.
