PROs VS. CONs ABOUT NOS

ok, what are the pros and cons about nos when it comes to your engine????

Pros: Adds HP in an instant.

Cons: Causes added strain on engine components which in turn cause premature wear.
Possible detonation if the wrong A/F ratio is used. Which means a new engine.

I am sure that there are more for each side but I cant think of any at this time.

PRO's: instant HP
cheaper than turbo or supercharger if used sparingly
less maintenance than FI
reliable if set up right
great bang for the buck
CON's: very possible for detonation due to bad A/F ratio if not set up right
expensive if you use it alot because you have to fill the bottle
added stress(but so is higher compression, turbo supercharging and pretty much any high performance mod done to cars)
