RPM's vs. Speed

i've got a question about the DA. what's the highest speed you guys can go under 3000rpm? cuz most 5spds i've seen can go around 80mph under 3k, but mine is 60mph... is that right? the previous owner did do an engine swap to a b16, but he switched it back to the b18a...

maybe he left the b16 tranny cause that would cause your motor to rev higher at ne speed than an ls tranny the gearing is longer in an ls tranny

That doesn't seem right. I think the RPM's are higher for 80 MPH.

When a GSR is in 5th at 3,000 rpm, it'll be doing 60 mph.

2nd -55 mph
3rd - 80mph
4th - 115mph
5th - ??mph

5th gear @ 3k Rpm - ~60+mph~
5th gear @ ~3759pmh - 80Mph

Today I was going to work so I found out that in a B18B1 (LS) I was in fifth gear at 3,000 RPM and the speed was 67-68 MPH.

yup on my way to school today i remembered this thread so i took a look and im right around the same place with my car doing 80 im around 3700

I just checked mine on the way home (B18A1), and I go pretty much exactly 60mph at 3000rpm in fifth gear.

thats normal my teggy @ 60 its 3000rpm and at 80 its 4000 rpm
