Can't belive I came across this thread. It's all cool to slap a V8 in a gen 2 teg. If you have the knowledge and skills to do it. There is so many variables that you need to know. For some examples weight transfer, axles, rear diff, custom mounts for motor and trans location involved fire wall modification, wirings, gas tank, etc. for this your better off buying a vehicle with a V8. Your save the headache, money, getting stollen and resale of the vehicle.
