slow fluctuating speedometer

So I installed a 160amp High Output alternator yesterday and today I noticed while sitting at work idling in the parking lot the needle was slowing jumping up and down and I was not moving. i know these are vss so they run off of voltage but can having a higher output alternator cause this and how do i fix it?

The fuses would pop before the higher amps did anything. Unless you put in higher amp fuses...which would be dumb.

I have never seen a speedometer bounce when not moving. So my guess is its the vss....or the cluster itself. Vague I know, but check the vss at the plug. Make sure contact points are clean.
