My rack is shot also. Went to get it aligned and the guy told me my tie rods were bad and couldn't align it. Priced them online because I wasn't going to pay $600 for them to do the work. Reman will cost half that before you get your core charge back and hondas have different part number. I'm guessing they are different in some way. I decided to risk it and go to the junkyard. If you do that, make sure you find one with the boots in good shape. No use pulling it if the boots are shot. I was able to get one for $50. I'll let you know how it goes once I get it in and aligned tomorrow. Stay with second gen years. It looked like third gen rack was slightly different. I may be wrong but I am too chicken to find out.
