The fact that the Mustang driver was cornering the way he did in a 700hp bathtub of a car is impressive enough for me. When you watch about halfway through the video, it seems like there are a few turns where he completely outcorners the GTR.

'Stang driver = pro

GTR driver = OK, but the fact that he had AWD and wasn't destroying that Mustang out of the tighter corners says something.

From my eyes, the Mustang was much faster on the straights. Hence why the R35 was passed on a straight. The R35 was cornering at a much higher speed than the Mustang. Plus did you guys notice that the Mustang had 700whp?

I read that the mustang only had a little over 500hp. He really wasn't pulling that hard on the straits, he gets the jump out of the corners, but after they're both out on the straits he doesn't pull a whole lot. This probably has a lot to do with gearing.

I think it's funny that the miatas are cornering as fast as the gtr.:lol:

But yea, that stang driver was the shit, that's a beast of a car to handle.
