suspension questions

i own a 95 GS-R and i want to upgrade my suspension but im not sure about certain things like what exactly is the difference between a gas shock suspension and a regular spring and shock suspension. Which one is better and why? Also how does the gas shock suspension work?

Gas shocks have a (usually) nitrogen gas within the chamber that helps cool the shock everytime the spring/shock is compressed.

If you want to upgrade your suspnsion, I would recommend looking into true coilovers like TEIN Basics, TEIN S.S, TEIN Flex, OMNIpower full-race, etc.

I would recommend Koni yellow with ground control
bit mild but it does the job (good performance for the budget)
good for $$$ or I highly recommend zeal super function
you gotta find right setting for your driving style
