I have a 95 ls with 7lbs of boost and been that way for over a year, you can run up to 10 and keep it safe for a while.....like he said you go cheap you will buy twice....... just dont go cheap on the tune bro!! tune makes all the difference!!!
MY tuner has a ALL STOCK B-18c bottom and top, with 24 lbs and is hitting around 470 something....ITS ALL IN THE TUNE, IF YOU GO CHEAP DONT GO CHEAP ON THE TUNE!!!
