jason, you really should have nothing to worry about as far as a deer goes. they stay off the roads during the day.

damn, i dont think i can make it this time, why not doing it in Oct? (cuz the only sunday in august works for me is the 9th). We went there last Oct. and it was great when the weather cooler and leaves start to turn color.....
