wats da difference between 1999/2000teggies???

hey i was lookn at the turbo kit from greddy but then i saw that it was only available for the 96-99 tegs. i have a 2000 teg and want to know whats the differenes between the two? what makes my car so differnt than the 99's? thanx

i have no clue. i always thought the years were split 96-98 then 99-00. obd2 and obd2b

As far as I know, there's nothing different but the year. I've seen Teggy's seperated as follows:

94-95 obd1
96-01 obd2
96-99
00-01
94-97
98-01

I don't understand why the years are split like that. The only thing I can think off is for cost on parts. You can have a 2001 Teggy and need a valve cover gasket and order one from a 94. The part is the same but the price is different. It's weird how car companies work out sometimes.
