What did you use to paint the carpet?

Not really sure on the final results yet, I'll have to wait to put another layer on there later this week sometime.
Just tested it out, little bit of crusty feeling to it, but overall it feels just like regular carpet, highly recommend doing this, the can only cost me 8$ I think.

Yep, It's rough for like a week but mine softened up and now you can't even tell it was there.

does it smell like spray paint in your car? i was thinking about using dye but if this turns out just as good, i might consider that cuz it looks way easier.

Personally I'd rit dye the carpet.

This is what I did today. Cleaned my center console and installed my new OEM ITR shift boot.

It does for like 2 weeks which sucks but keep it ventilated as much as possible and it will go away, I've asked my gf about it since she's not used to how my car smells and even she can't smell it now.
